Detailed description:
Torii Beach is located on Torii Station Army Base.
As 1 of 3 DOD-owned and
operated beaches in
Okinawa, Torii Beach is
well-kept and has a
great view. The
reefs are shallow and
very close to shore.
Since the waves are
generally very mild,
this makes for an
excellent snorkeling
location.
Torii Beach is quiet
in the winter months,
great for sea-glass
collecting and just
relaxing. Late
spring thru early fall
brings additional
activity. The
water slide is open from
late spring thru early
fall. Armed Forces
Radio often plays on the
P.A. system and the sand
volleyball courts keep
busy.
Torii Beach
additionally offers
camping areas and
pavilion rentals (see
slideshow for pictures). For reservations and information call:
644-4334
(check number vs. #
above). |

dottxs, texas
We read so much about Rosemary's on this
website we had to go and try it out. We
went for the prix fixe lunch and it was
absolutely fabulous! I think it's $25.00
per person, and you have a choice of...

My husband and I were in Vegas(Oct
20th) for our 30th Anniversary and wanted to go
to some good restaurants, so I saw Rosemary's
had a $20.00 lunch, so we went. The cab was
$40.00 plus tip round trip,... |
"#1,no way" Oct 30, 2006

Rosemarys has no real ambiance,
terribly overpriced for only moderately good
food and too attentive service. Try Table 34 on
Warm Springs for more romance at 1/2 the price |
"What is the fuss about?"

Whinbrook,
London, England
Having read numerous A+ reviews on
this establishment, we felt compelled to visit
while on a touring holiday from the UK. Indeed
it is $25 cab ride from the strip but I think we
should have saved our...
