Spouses to Teachers is a DoD program - it provides support to spouses of active duty military and Selected Reserves personnel as they pursue K-12 teaching positions.

Become a licensed Family Child Care (FCC) provider

Great for moms who want to stay home with their kids and still have a job!   Providers must meet the following qualifications:

• Be a high school graduate (or have GED equivalent)
• Complete a home interview
• Obtain letters of recommendation
• Complete orientation training
• Undergo comprehensive background check

FCC providers can offer care for children ages six weeks to 12 years of age and they can care for up to six children in their home, including their own children less than eight years of age.
